This spring, I’ve been looking for fun ways to decorate my home without spending too much time and effort.
I like to do crafts that are a little quirky like adding Sharpie dots to a vase, yet insanely simple like wrapping baker’s twine around a clear milk bottle. While this yarn wrapped wreath is a little time intensive, it’s the perfect craft to do while you’re catching up on previous seasons of Walking Dead and Game of Thrones on Netflix.
While hanging out on Pinterest one night, I ran across this cute “grass” wreath by Miss Kopykat, and decided instantly I had to make the wreath. Unfortunately, my local Micheal’s Craft Store did NOT have grassy yarn. Instead, I decided to use a silvery gray yarn to create a wreath I could use year round like my Burlap Wreath. Of course, I picked a very thin yarn which meant several hours of patiently wrapping the yarn around the wreath form. I’m glad I did, because I love my yarn wreath.
