Every week, I’m sharing some of the thrifted outfits I’ve worn the previous week. My goal is to show you that you can be stylish, frugal, and green, all at the same time!
Since one of my goals this fall is to dress well everyday, I decided to pick up the What I Wore challenge again. I guarantee there will be at least one day where I wear an old pair of GAP jeans and a t-shirt. My goal is to dress better 3 to 4 days a week. Fingers crossed.
This is the outfit I wore on Sunday to mass and for a visit to Media for some shopping. The pants are Lee Sinfully Soft khakis, part of a number of pants I picked up at Kohl’s in August. With the help of Kohl’s cash and a Kohl’s coupon, I think my final cost for the pants averaged about $17. These pants come in Short, Average, and Petit. I absolutely adore them!
On top is an Ann Taylor sweater set I picked up at the Goodwill Runway Show last February. I love Anny Taylor clothes because of their timeless style and simple yet detailed designs. I can dress up the tops or dress them down. Since I picked mine up second hand, I love that the Ann Taylor tops always wash well.
This necklace is part of some #13in2013 bling I bought in the spring when I thought I could run 13 races in 2013. From Momentum, this simple necklace says “Runner Girl.” I also have a set of discs for my running shoes. I wear the necklace all the time even though it’s not appropriate for every single outfit. Just call me Runner Girl.
Another Kohl’s find, I picked up this sparkly pair of earrings by Napier in August in the clearance section. Any time, I’m at Kohl’s, I visit the clothing and jewelry clearances sections for me and the shoe clearance for the kids. I often find something to save me money. The earring above it is another Kohl’s clearance find from a few years ago.
