Yesterday, my husband and I did a daytime date at one of my favorite gardens, Longwood Gardens located in Kennett Square, just outside of Philadelphia. We loved walking around in the sunshine enjoying the flowers and catching up on much needed adult conversation. For lunch, we ate at the 1906 Restaurant next to Longwood’s Conservatory.

If you’re in the Philadelphia area this summer, check out the Festival of Fountains at Longwood. On July 3rd, enjoy fireworks and Celebrate America with well-known patriotic favorites, including John Philip Sousa’s The Stars & Stripes, Richard Rodgers’ Victory at Sea, Irving Berlin’s God Bless America, and more. Order your tickets online.
