Pictures to come later. However, to keep those moms who feel they have no time themselves to do crafts, here’s the update on my progress this week.
Knitted Leggings for the baby – Both sides finished. Since I didn’t quite follow directions on the first side, I ripped it out to the mistake and have been reknitting the first side.
Sweater for my oldest son – Started knitting the front side and then discovered that I made a mistake at the very beginning with the seed stitch. Started over again. How fortunate that he won’t be this size for a few years (we hope).
Red velvet jacket for the baby – Hemmed the bottom and started working on the sleeves. Since this is my first time doing sleeves, I’m taking my time to understand the process.
And, I started making a coaster for my water bottle for when it sits on my desk. Frequently my bottle creates condensation on the desk which drives me batty. The pattern is actually for a reusuable cover for a swiffer-type mop, but I thought that I would try it out as a coaster first. The edges are rolling up a bit so I may end up sewing a backing on my knitted coaster just because the rolled up edges would also drive me batty.
And they said having more kids would drive me batty.
