One of the stops in Tyler Arboretum’s Tree House Exhibit is a place where children can create temporary art using natural materials. I loved the idea and I’m hoping I can recreate it at home. It’s also a great way to take a break on a nature walk – create your own temporary art with found materials.
Imagine a dock set on grass with square outlines to represent work spaces or canvases. Scattered along the dock are several flat rectangular crates of natural materials – pine cones, stocks, seed pods, and slices of wood.
