However, since early December, my husband and I kept finding ourselves turning the heat up an extra two degrees in the morning to take the chill off. This hasn’t significantly impacted our heating oil bill since we only used 80 gallons for the past 30 days, but it was clear that the day time temp of 65 wasn’t working.
Last week, we change our thermostat’s schedule to a day time temp of 66. Just a one degree difference has stopped us from the usual two degree bump in the morning.
Anyone else needing to change their heating schedule?
