Subway art has become my new easy peasy way to decorate without leaving my home. Seriously. All I have to do is Google “subway art” or do a search on Pinterest, print out what I find, switch out the old with the new, and voila – I’ve decorated for spring.
All of my frames come from Michael’s Craft Store. You can often find them on sale for 40% off, or use the coupon that prints out with your receipt at the store. I like to keep a few extra mattes around in case I run across an image that is smaller than my frame. I printed my subway art on Hewlett Packard glossy paper which came with my new printer; standard white cardstock works just as well.
Updated: Heather of Diapered Daze and Knights tipped me off to another way to print subway art: send it online to Office Max and have them print it on thick paper for only 66 cents (I think regular paper is much less) – ready for pick up an hour later.
Today’s Fabulous Finds I loved this one so much that I reprinted it in colors for my office.
