Come back on next Monday for 5 more day trip ideas and tips.
In the end, we walked away with just under 3 lbs of fresh strawberries – perfect for making strawberry freezer jam.
While we made our way through the aquarium I noticed that several employees were set up at various tables and were sharing all sorts of worthwhile info- everything from buying safe seafood to endangered species. ~ Devon
This lovely metaphor greeted me this morning as Buddy and Little Guy with their besties over at Longwood Gardens for some morning storytime action. If you have ever been to Longwood Gardens in southeastern Pennsylvania, you know that everything they do is over-the-top and impeccable. ~ Heather
Lily has been asking to go fishing for a couple years now and we decided earlier this summer to take her for the first time. Rather than go the traditional route – the sitting for hours on the bank of a lake or river – we found a very interesting alternative about and hour from our house.
We headed out to the Paradise Fishing Preserve in Cresco, PA. Paradise Fishing Preserve is part pay lake, part fish hatchery…These lakes are STOCKED with big, homegrown fish. While I certainly can’t guarantee that you will catch a single fish, the odds are (ever) in your favor. ~ Devon
We started out in Duke’s Lagoon. Derek and Hayley LOVED the spray park. They went on the slides and stepped on the water that shoots out of the grounds for over 1 1/2 hours (no pictures because due to extreme heat Rob and I were in the water too!!) Duke’s Lagoon was great for both kids, they had a blast AND it’s so clean!
