Not sure how to title this since it’s something quick that I wanted to post.
Now that I used up my contact paper on my first batch of nomenclature cards, I decided to try using my Xyron laminating machine with my color cards. Joann Fabrics has the Xyron supplies on sale for 40% off right now. The color cards are paint chips from Home Depot’s Behr line. The individual paint chips come in a rounded-off square that is about 2 inches across. I also grabbed the ones that have several shades on them for more advanced colorwork. All of them look great with the lamination on them.
Today I set up a color mixing tray for my three year old. I keep supplies for pouring exercises in a box on top of my frig along with several trays. Very often I will set up a tray for my three year old and my 21 month old to use while I’m making dinner. The color mixing tray is a new addition to the box. I used an old medicine dropper and baby food jars, along with the liquid food coloring. The tray generated a lot of interest from most of the family!
