On Thursday, it’s my 3rd son’s 6th birthday, however, because his dad has a late meeting, we won’t be able to celebrate together at dinnertime. Instead, we’re going to spread the celebration out over 2 days. Thursday morning, we’ll serve donuts at breakfast with a candle on one of the donuts. I’ll be making rice krispy treats for the Kindergarten snack on Thursday, and when I pick up my son at school, I’ll surprise him with a few balloons from the Dollar Store. Friday night we’ll have the birthday boy’s choice of dinner along with cake and ice cream.
Monday – homemade mac and cheese, sauteed green beans, onions, and garlic
Tuesday – baked rosemary garlic chicken, roasted lemon red potatoes, sauteed kale in bacon grease
Wednesday – pasta bake with leftover taco meat
Thursday – leftovers
Friday – Birthday Boy’s choice of Dinner, followed by cake and ice cream
