I finally have a plan for Lunch and Dinner this week! This morning, I sat down with my 2 middle sons to talk about what to make for lunch. Since they’ll be going back to school next week, this is an activity we’ll need to do Sunday afternoons. During the school year, I think Thursday afternoon and Friday evening may be the kids’ time in the kitchen. I will still have them help with the other meals, too.
I’m keeping the kitchen prep tasks light this week since we’ll be doing so much cooking otherwise. We also have plans to go to the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Lancaster on Tuesday which I’m hoping means we’ll be visiting Kauffman’s Fruit Market in Bird in Hand. If I come home loaded with apples, I want to have time in our week for any cooking or freezing we may need to do.
