This week’s menu is simple. That’s okay. With my husband at a conference from early Sunday morning to Wednesday evening, I need to keep the menu simple and focus on the party cooking and preparations. I’ll be sharing my party menu on Tuesday on my new local foods cooking blog, Frugal Local Kitchen. Subscribe here if you don’t want to miss the post. My May menu is featured on Frugal Local Kitchen today.
I will also be cooking veggie side dishes daily to round out the menu and keep me on track with my Paleo eating. I received the Internal Bliss cookbook with GAPS recipes last week. I’m anxious to attempt making ghee, and the banana peanut butter pancakes sound yummy.
Monday – Milmont Pizza and fries for the birthday boy. Birthday cake: Sour cream pound cake with buttercream icing
Tuesday – Flapjacks using up my collected raw milk from the kids
Wednesday – Tortellini with red sauce
Thursday – Leftovers
Friday – Homemade pizza or take out depending on how we’re doing with the party cooking.
- Make kombucha – Thursday
