I have to admit that I am tired and lacking in motivation and inspiration this week. My 6 year old daughter had the flu last week, and I spent the weekend running around catching up on stuff plus doing extra work as a Girl Scout leader. I’m hoping that I can get some baking done later in the week, though I’m not holding my breath.
In other words, this may be a week of using up food from the freezer rather than stocking the freezer. That’s fine. That’s what the freezer is for anyway – a back up plan when I have a crazy week and can’t do much cooking or baking. It’s all part of the season I’m in.
