Since we’re out almost every night this week, I am keeping all of our meals simple. I’m also keeping my snack making simple. If I can find some extra time to make snacks for the freezer, I’ll do it. Otherwise, I’m not stressing.
On Pinterest, I’m collecting recipes to try each week. As I schedule the recipe in my menu plan, I’m noting the date and making a notation about the success or failure of the recipe later. In addition, I have a weekly recipe sharing chat on my Facebook page with one topic per hour. Come share your favorite recipes!
I am also in the process of develop a meal planning section for my newly-revised home management binder. To date, I’ve started a list of our favorite meals, dinner dishes, and side dishes for dinner using lists from ListPlanIt. Thanks to a reader suggestion on Facebook, I’m including my regular kitchen prep tasks in my daily/weekly list. The other tasks like making snacks will go on my weekly menu plan. More to come as I finalize the meal planning section.
