You may not have realized it, but the chemicals you spray on your lawn affect the wildlife that use the streams in your watershed. They also pollute your drinking water because it comes from the streams in the Chester Ridley Watershed. Whether or not you can safely fish at Ridley Creek State Park is dependent upon the quality of the water.
What does it take to ensure the quality of the water in the Chester Ridley and Crum Creek Watersheds? The CRC Homeowner Stormwater Education Series will help you learn a variety of seasonal strategies for taking care of your yard without harm to the local watershed.
