This time, I strained some slightly runny yogurt over night in the refrigerator to make Greek-style yogurt. I melted a bar of semi-sweet chocolate and pureed the chocolate and the yogurt together in a blender.
The kids noticed the tang of the yogurt, but most liked the new flavor. Next time I will try Trader Joe’s chocolate syrup to see if the additional sugar helps balance the yogurt’s tang. Another option is adding honey or maple syrup with the melted chocolate bar.
Once the yogurt and chocolate are mixed together, one could also throw in chocolate chips. Then cover the cups and place in the freezer.
