Life is flying by these days at an amazing speed for me. My youngest son graduated from Kindergarten just over a week ago, and my oldest son, 12 years his senior, graduated from high school last week. Looking through old photos for photo books to celebrate their milestones has me crying buckets over cute, chubby babies who are growing so fast.
My middle 3 kids are growing up, too. My 11 year old is 2 inches taller than me and wearing the same shoe size as my husband and his older sibling. My 9 year old is in his last year of Cub Scouts, and just 2 years away from Junior High. My daughter is growing into an amazing young woman with friendship in her heart for everyone.
This summer, my goal is to capture the fleeting moments – those every day moments of hugs, family jokes, and fun adventures around our hometown. I will be depending on my smartphone to document my moments. I can tuck a smartphone in my back pocket, take a ton of photos with the super sharp camera, and have all the apps I need at a fingers touch for easy navigation and local information.
Families on the Go: Droid Turbo
When you’re on the go capturing your family’s life this summer, you’ll want a phone that can keep up the pace and then some. The DROID Turbo by Motorola in Gray Ballistic Nylon with its amazing speed and long battery life can be that phone.
As a mom with 5 kids and lots of potential for broken screens and smartphones, I am amazed at how rugged the Droid Motorola is. Water-repellent nano-coating and Corning Gorilla Glass help protect the device from spills and scratches. Underneath the woven materials, DROID Turbo by Motorola includes a layer of Kevlar, a material five times stronger than metal. As any mom knows, smartphones get dropped a lot, especially when we’re grabbing our smartphones to capture that fleeting moment when our kids are having fun with friends and family.
Go two days without stopping to recharge or worrying about battery life thanks to the largest battery of any smartphone. There’s nothing like grabbing your phone to capture your youngest son climbing all the way to the top of a jungle gym only to realize that the battery is about to die, and you can’t share this moment with his grandmother. You can also recharge wireless and skip the tangle of cords.
Gray not your color? Don’t worry! You can customize one of my favorite basic colors, grey, with pops of blue, orange, or violet. Personally, I would pick the orange accent to go with my summer purse, a bright orange. I love the ability to set the Droid Motorola apart as uniquely mine.
