(Read all the fine print here.)
With the kids out of school, I’ve been decluttering our home. Actually, I started last week with a load dropped off at Goodwill, and now I have another load ready to go. Before that, I decluttered our clothing boxes as I did the seasonal clothing switch and put away hand-me-downs passed on to us.
I’m not looking forward to the kids’ toys. I never do. I never feel like I have a handle on organizing them.
My other task this summer is better organizing the kids’ uniforms. The boys have their uniform stations in 2 spots which I would like to combine into one in their bedroom. My daughter will be wearing a uniform next year; I’m not sure where I’ll be putting her stuff. I also need to make room for her school shoes with the rest of the shoes in the kitchen where we store shoes.
Each season brings its own organizing issues to solve.
