Time for some crafting inspiration from The Handmade Mama! Since I’ve been getting into various decorating projects around our home, I asked Maggie of The Handmade Mama to share what she’s been working on recently. My favorite one – the neon spray-painted banner. I already have visions of using this idea for a fall/Halloween party.
Was that thing that just flew by me in an enormous blur, SUMMER?! I find it impossible to believe that it’s time for school to start again, but my calendar and my husband, who is a teacher, are telling me that yes, it is indeed that time.
My name is Maggie Mitchell and I live in West Chester, PA with my aforementioned teacher husband and our 3-year old daughter. I left my own teaching job to be a full-time mom to her, and now, in all of my “free” time, I write kids’ books, blog, do author visits to schools, and run a small publishing company called Bushbaby Press, LLC.
Although I want a simple, balanced life, I’m afraid mine is anything but. However, one thing that I LOVE to do that helps me slow down, and also gives me an incredible sense of fulfillment is crafting! I’m grateful to Barb today for letting me share just a few of my more recent craft projects with you on A Life in Balance!
