Both of these crafts linked up by Buttons and Paint to the Fabulously Frugal linky 2 weeks ago are totally adorable, AND great crafts to do this summer with your kids if you have a rainy afternoon, or the day is beastly hot.

Felt Needle Case by Buttons and Paint – This is a great craft if you have bits of felt in your craft box. Don’t limit yourself to felt if you have some other fabrics that won’t fray.

Pretty Pins by Buttons and Paint – When I saw this craft, I immediately thought of the container of pins from Goodwill that my 7 year old won at a race in June. Perfect for this craft!

Thanks! Aren’t they cute? I’m saving the owl one for my Girl Scout troop. Maybe not this year, but definitely next year when we have lots of Brownies.
