Outside my window…
Darkness and cold.

I am thinking…
of The Philadelphia Flower Show! I am so excited to be going by myself this morning.

I am thankful for…
friends.

I am pondering…

I prefer to explore the most intimate moments, the smaller, crystallized details we all hinge our lives on.

Living a green/frugal lifestyle…
I started my March Food Budget project yesterday with a big shopping trip to Costco. I’m tracking what we purchase and how much we spend, plus sticking to planned shopping trips. My goal is to reduce our spending if possible and better organize my time.

From the kitchen…
My other March project is working on the menu planning section in my Home Management binder. With the help of ListPlanIt’s lists, I’m pulling together lists for Main Dishes, Side Dishes, Snacks, along with a few other lists. I’m also collecting recipes to try on my Pinterest board and having weekly recipe chats on Fridays on my Frugal Local Kitchen Facebook page.

I am creating…
plans for March. There’s a lot to think about – St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, gardening, and home organization.

I am going…
to The Philadelphia Flower Show!

I am reading…
cookbooks I bought for free on my Kindle.

Living A Healthy Lifestyle…
I did my first walk for exercise yesterday morning in almost 5 weeks. It felt so good to get out and move. I’ll continue walking for the next week, and then try running next Saturday. I’m hoping I can run the last of the Winter Pickle Runs on March 16th.

I am hoping…
for warmer temperatures this week. I am SO ready for spring.

I am hearing…
Quiet.

Around the house…
I started spring cleaning 2 weeks ago. So far, I’ve tackled one children’s bedroom, our bedroom, and my office. I’ve taken 2 trips to Goodwill to donate items, and I gave a friend some arts and crafts supplies. On Monday, I’ll be sharing a friend’s guest post about #40bagsin40days. Very inspirational!

Around the yard…
Time to prune rose bushes and fruit trees, and rake out flower beds.

One of my favorite things…
The Flower Show!

A few plans for the rest of the week:
Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts.

A picture for thought…
