My youngest 2 children love, love, love their stuffed animals. “Puppy” the dog and especially “Coffee” the Turtle go everywhere. Bedtime is not bedtime until “Puppy” and “Coffee” are located and snuggled in with my little ones.
When I was asked to review the CuddleUppets, I hadn’t heard of them. However, my kids knew exactly what I was talking about, and had already picked out their favorite ones. My daughter went with the green crocodile I first brought home. She spent about a day deciding on names, finally arriving at “Crocky.” My 4 year old son calls his “Doggy” “cause he’s a dog.” Um, why did you name your turtle Coffee? The logic of 4 year olds.
Both CuddleUppets travel around our house, occasionally attending Coffee’s birthday party (a favorite game) or hanging out in the living room for a rousing game of fort-building. After all, what’s not to like when you’ve got a blanket AND stuff animal all in one. The rest of the time, Doggy and Crocky keep my little ones company at night, being so soft and cuddlesome.
Besides being so soft and cuddley, I love that the CuddleUppets come in different colors. When you have 2 kids or more, the best way to avoid arguments is to have items in different colors, or labeled with initials.
CuddleUppets are only available online. You can choose from 6 cute characters – pink poodle, purple monkey, yellow puppy, green crocodile, blue elephant, or brown bear. The blanket part is 28 x 39 inches. If you buy one CuddleUppet, they’re $19.99, the second one is $16.99, and shipping is free. Personally, I think these would make fun birthday presents for preschool or Kindergarten classmates.
Disclosure: I received a CuddleUppet for review purposes. All opinions expressed in the review are my own.
