I made this yesterday, but haven’t had time to try it. The lemons were free to us so the only cost we incurred, other than time spent zesting and juicing the lemons, was for the sugar.

I could use our homegrown raspberries and concord grapes to make other economical sorbets.
This recipe is a two step process. First, I had to make a simple sugar syrup, and when that was completely cooled, I could make the sorbet. The recipe recommends making up the sugar syrup and keeping it refrigerated which would make this recipe easier to whip up at the last minute.
