BlogHer 2012 in New York City was my first big conference in at least 16 years. When I worked in fundraising, I went to a conference in Athens Georgia, plus one up in Boston. I traveled with people I worked with and we took the time to explore each city a little. This time I was traveling by myself to meet up with bloggers I’ve been getting to know locally and nationally.

I had a fabulous roommate who was a homebody like me, though fun to be around. I felt like I was tagging along sometimes, and that’s just the way it is with introverts. I got into my groove by Friday lunch and loved hearing Martha Stewart speak. I came away from BlogHer with a clear sense of who I am and what works for me which I’ll be sharing in another post.
