Tonight we’re having experimental meat loaf. I’m combining 2 lbs. of ground beef, 1 lb. of ground turkey, 4 oz. of pesto, 3 egg whites, 2 large dollops of beef gravy, and 2 cups of homemade bread crumbs. In addition, I made roasted potato wedges flavored with olive oil, rosemary and paprika and homemade french bread.
To top it all off, and because I know my guys, I made a pan of brownies. All we’re missing is vanilla ice cream.
