A slow cooker is a busy mom’s best friend in the kitchen! Toss all the ingredients in the slow cooker, set the timer, and dinner is piping hot and ready at dinnertime. No fuss, no worries!
I’ve rounded up 11 slow cooker recipes perfect for your busy fall schedule. Just get the ingredients out the night before, set up dinner in the morning, and come home to a house filled with amazing smells. All you need to do is toss together a salad or warm up a load of bread in the oven.

Slow Cooker for Busy Moms: Instapot
I have my eye on this amazing Instapot Slow Cooker. At 12 by 11 by 10, this Instapot wouldn’t take up much space on my counter, and it would replace my current pressure cooker and slow cooker. I could put dinner in the Instapot in the morning, set the timer, and go about my day with no worries for getting dinner on the table. I’d love the ability to toss a leftover stew in the slow cooker to warm up while we’re working on homework.
Do me a favor and tell my husband how much I need this tool in my kitchen.

That new cooker looks awesome. I have a very old crock pot but these new ones are really catching my eye lately. Especially as I seem to be getting busier and busier. I think they would be great. Don’t know your husband
but hopefully someone will tell him to get you one. The mexican lasagna looks really great.

Fall is my busy time of year so I use my crockpot a lot. I can’t wait for some homemade chili!
Thanks for the great ideas! I LOVE anything I can do in the crock pot. I even used mine throughout the summer so I didn’t have to turn on the oven, and it gave a nice variety from the grill once in awhile.
